Stepping Out In Prada & Paris in Photos

Hello Fashionators!

I hope everyone had a lovely Tuesday! I had a very busy day that has left me quite tired. My morning began with me losing my pre-paid Oyster card, which meant that I was going to have to pay extra for tube fare *cringe*. Since I had left my flat so early, I decided to return and look for my Oyster card. I was certain that I had left it in my coat pocket from yesterday and that finding it would take no time at all. When I scurried into my flat, I didn't find my Oyster card in my pocket. It was also not in my clutch, on my desk, or anywhere else. I turned my room upside down in a matter of minutes in vain- there was no Oyster card to be found. I began frantically searching through my handbag for the fifth time and took everything out of my wallet- including my Oyster card. Yes, my Oyster card was in my wallet where it belonged the entire time. I had accidentally stuck it behind my driver's license, so I couldn't see it. I was glad I didn't have to pay extra for the tube, though felt very silly about the entire situation. I suppose it was my cardio for the day.

My day seemed non-stop: I had class in the morning followed by a luncheon and then headed to work. I had a particularly busy day at Upper Street, but it was very rewarding. There are exciting things happening, so be on the lookout! It'll tickle you pink!

After work I rushed home to change for the reception I attended tonight. I wore a classic white Ralph Lauren cotton blouse, a black pleated skirt, black tights, and my black Prada heels. This was the first time I'd worn my Prada heels, and I was very careful about not scuffing the patent. I refused to walk in them on the street and carried them in the dust bag in my purse until I arrived at the venue. Perhaps I'm paranoid, but I really want them to stay looking new for as long as possible. I felt very sophisticated in the lower heels, as I usually don very high platforms to compensate for my short stature. I enjoyed meeting the chancellor of my university and hearing about her experiences.

After my hectic day, I came home a changed into cozy clothes and edited photos of my trip to Paris! Because I took so many, here are the photos from just the first two days:
