Happy Thursday!
I didn't have any classes today, so I spent the morning exploring more of the area. I went to the British Museum and photographed the lovely gold jewellry in the Ancient Greece exhibit. I believe photographing the British Museum is going to be my morning work out while in London, as I can't seem to stop myself once I begin! The pictures of the gold jewellry will be highlighted in tomorrow's post, but here are some of my favorites from today! Do note that the lovely young lad in the first picture is my boyfriend!

After the British Museum, I headed toward Covenant Garden and perused the shops, hoping to stumble upon a particular shoe shop I had passed yesterday, but did not have the time to go into. As I was walking down one street, there were people outside of a shop with large wooden boxes full of colorful little squares in clear wrapping. A delightful young man asked me if I wanted one of them, and I responded enthusiastically and took a square. As I began to unwrap the colorful square and was about to put it in my mouth when the man exclaimed "Oh no! That is soap!" and motioned for me to not eat the square. I was overcome with laughter upon realizing that I had confused soap for candy. The man said "Yes, that would make your mouth quite bubbly, I do not recommend it."

I wandered about and found many vintage shops, photographed different store fronts, and finally stumbled upon the shoe store I had passed yesterday! When I went in, I was excited to see that the store was having sale, as I was in dire need of some shoes! I grabbed a pair of black lace-up suede wedges in my size and moved towards the seats around the corner to try them on. As I stood up to walk in them, I noticed a rack of gorgeous black Dolce & Gabbana shoes. To the left was a rack of Prada shoes. I immediately fell in love with a pair of black patent leather kitten heels. The kitten heel was boxy (usually not my style, but these were spectacular) and a patent leather bow on the toe with PRADA in gold on it. I asked the shop keeper for my size, and it was the last pair left. It was shoe fate. Besides, the right pair of shoes can change your life.
